Another outstanding and spicy why choose novel from the queen of spice herself!!

This is a very short but still super spicy and enjoyable read. There was enough of a plot to keep readers engaged but not too much that it took away from other aspects (wink wink). My only negative mark is overall plot being not entirely cohesive, and the timeframe feeling rushed. I really wouldn’t have minded a higher page count for a smoother transition of both the overall timeframe and plot itself. I found that the plot came in the beginning and the end, with hardly anything to show between those points so it felt kind of off kilter for me.

The spice going on here?? Fantastic. She says masked men and I am already all in. There is strong familiarity with our FMC and MMC’s from a shared past which adds strong emotional depth that I noticed right off the bat. I really enjoyed watching their relationships evolve to present day and how that gets interpreted into their place scenes. The spice starts off strong and stays strong the entire time. There was some weird time skips with scenes that we weren’t given in detail which was a wasted opportunity. But the scenes we got were absolutely phenomenal, and I only wish we got more.
