In the Lonely Hours by Shannon Morgan

Did I enjoy this? Yes. Did I absolutely love this and would re-read it? Probably not.
There wasn’t anything wrong with the novel, it just failed to invoke any strong feelings for me. I did enjoy the paranormal aspect, even if it was a bit cringy and too-easily guessable. I did also find myself liking the dual timeline POV, something that is normally a hard pass for me. I think it was especially nice to see the stark differences between the two women and how the mystery unfolded for both of them.
Speaking of the characters, they all felt a little too stereotypical with no real emotional depth or overall development. I think that was one of the main factors contributing to me not enjoying this novel more.
